Bob- I can see your deer, perhaps in the shadow of a pine, silently listening and straining to see...no moon, just the snow to cast light onto the dark surroundings...there's tension in this moment of stillness.
Oddly enough, that's how I'm feeling today. Trying to make sense of these stories we call "Good Friday" and "Easter", peering from under the shadow of our son's death in February. It's a whole different experience this year. Thanks for posting your image so I could find it today.
